Dr. Frank Nick Hrisomalos

Dr. Frank Nick Hrisomalos who after 57 years was the longest serving physician in Monroe County. Dr. Frank was the son of Nick Hrisomalos, founder of Nick’s English Hut on East Kirkwood. Growing up, Frank spent many hours working at Nick’s. Dr. Hrisomalos also was a member of the City Board of Public Works and a civic leader. He spent years as director of many local nursing homes. He grudgingly retired in 2014 only after falling ill. Over a career spanning 57 years, he saved lives, gave meaning to lives, and made a difference in so many lives. He is buried at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
