Indiana Governor from 1933-1937, Paul V. McNutt received his degree from Indiana University in 1913 and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1916. He was Dean of the IU Law School when he was elected Governor in 1933. He helped establish the American Legion in Bloomington and was the State Commander in 1927, and National Commander in 1928-29.
